Nashville Pussy is an American rock band from Athens, Georgia. A band consists of Blaine Cartwright on guitar/vocals, his wife Ruyter Suys on lead guitar, Jeremy Thompson on drums, and Katielyn Campbell on bass. (Campbell replaced original bassist Corey Parks who left the band for household reasons. Tracy Almazon, likewise referred to as Tracy Wives & Tracy Kickass, played bass in the meanwhile.) A class action's title comes from either Ted Nugent's introduction to "Wang Dang Sweet Poontang" on the "Double Live Gonzo" album. Nashville Pussy was shocked to receive the Right Metal Performance Grammy nomination for their song "Fried Chicken And Coffee" from either their debut release, Let Them Eat Pussy (1998, The Enclave). Since so, the band has remained largely underground, even so gaining a big rock club scene below. Grassroots promotion of the band has been aided by their taper-friendly indicate recording policy.
